The Vice Chair shall in the absence or disability of the Chair perform the duties and exercise the powers of that office. In addition, the Vice Chair shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Directors may prescribe.

Delight has worked in the proposal industry for over 20 years, starting in the 80s in Aerospace as a full-time Sr.
Proposal Specialist in one of the best Proposal Development Centers at that time. In the early 90s, an opportunity
arose that allowed her to start her own consulting business and she continues to do business as Delight Rose
Consulting today. Delight has expanded her business to include project and program management for Aerospace
and computer industries. She also specializes in project improvement including Lean Thinking and Six Sigma
tools.
Delight was a founding member (#11) of the N. CA APMP Chapter and, after an interruption in membership, is
now back in full swing as member and Vice Chair of the new APMP Pacific Northwest Chapter. She is looking
forward to personally meeting all the chapter members along with the intrepid proposal folks in Alaska where
she resides. Delight was pleasantly surprised to learn how many APMP members work proposals in Alaska.
Delight says, “the new Pacific Northwest Chapter gives us Alaskans the opportunity to network with others in
the lower 48.”
