Affiliate with the Pacific Northwest Chapter

Members of the the Association of Proposal Management Professionals have the opportunity to affiliate with one of the many regional chapters. By affiliating with a chapter, APMP members can network with other professionals in their regions. The national organization encourages affiliation, stating that it recognizes "that developing a chapter structure is essential to the growth of APMP." By affiliating, members receive the following significant benefits:

  • Networking focus into the immediate needs of the chapter membership
  • An available forum for presentation of proposal-related issues
  • A working environment to further the objectives of APMP
  • Develop relationships among special interest groups of proposal professionals, e.g. graphic artists

Affiliating with our chapter
The "Pacific Northwest" is a large region, including Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California. If fact, we've stretched the geography a bit, including members from Hawaii as well. In essence, we are a "virtual" chapter serving the Pacific Rim. The largest concentration of our membership resides in Washington and Oregon, and our members attempt to meet-up with colleagues in their general vicinity when we have membership meetings.

Currently, our membership consists of just fewer than 50 people, and we are actively seeking to grow the number. With a larger membership, our chapter can provide a wider range of professional development opportunities and industry networking.
